After more than eight years connecting IT service providers with the best cybersecurity minds in the channel, we are taking our biggest step forward.

When we launched IoTSSA, the focus was clear: IoT devices were exploding onto networks faster than anyone could secure them. MSPs and MSSPs needed a trusted place to learn, connect, and build real skills. We delivered that through podcasts, expert panels, cybersecurity expos, and direct access to vendors and researchers. You showed up. The community grew. That foundation remains the reason we are still here.

The threat landscape did not pause. It accelerated. Today the channel faces ransomware-as-a-service, AI-driven attacks, zero-trust mandates, and a new reality that changes everything: quantum computing will break the encryption standards the entire industry relies on. NIST finalized its first post-quantum cryptography standards in August 2024. Nation-state actors are already running “harvest now, decrypt later” operations, stockpiling encrypted data today for the day quantum computers can break it. MSPs and MSSPs protecting small and mid-market clients will be on the front lines of this transition.

We are ready for that challenge.

IoTSSA Inc. is restructuring. We are evolving into Quantum Education for the IT Channel…a dedicated education and enablement platform built specifically for IT service providers who need to stay ahead of the most complex security and technology shifts coming down the road. The mission stays the same: equip the channel with knowledge, expert access, and practical resources. The scope, the curriculum, and the platform are expanding.

This is not a departure from what we built. It is the direct next chapter. The trust you placed in IoTSSA, the conversations with security experts, the relationships formed at our events…all of that becomes the foundation for what comes next.

Why quantum? Why now?

Post quantum cryptography is no longer theoretical. The NIST standards are live. The migration clock is ticking for every TLS handshake, VPN, and encrypted backup an MSP manages. The IT channel deserves a dedicated resource to prepare and turn that preparation into a competitive advantage. That is the mandate we are executing.
